La Marina beach is a 5 minute car journey where you will find a very popular white sandy beach. There are sunbeds available for hire and there are some bars and a restaurant on the beach. Car parking is free as it is with most of the other beaches in the area.
The other beaches of are located between "Cabo Cervera" and "Punta de Salaret". The further North they are it is rocky but as you come South they become smooth.
All the beaches have soft white sand with very clear sea water. Three of the four beaches in the Torrevieja area have been given the blue flag by the European Union.
Beach of La Mata
This is one of the largest and most visited beaches in the area. It is more than 2 Km. long with beach bars, hammocks to rent and plenty of parking. There are also various water sports in the area.
Beach of Los Locos
This beach is 1 km long and has very few waves due to the natural rock formations leaving crystal clear water and soft sand. This is one of the areas blue flag beaches.
Beach of El Cura
Smaller than the others beaches and located between "Punta Margalla" and the North Dike, it is famous for its high quality of restaurants and was awarded its blue flag in 2002.
Beach of Los Naufragos
This beach is 300 metres long and is one of the most popular to be visited, this is due to its wide range of bars, restaurants and water sports. Once again this beach has clear water, soft sand and because of the South Dike at the harbour has very few waves. Once again this beach was awarded its blue flag in 2002.
Beach of El Acequión
Located beside the harbour at Torrevieja it has the traditional beach bars right on the edge of the sand.
Beach Cabo Cervera
This is the middle point between the long vast beaches of the South and the rocky beaches of the North.
Beach of Hortigues
If you love quiet areas and naturally beautiful views this beach is surrounded by sand hills and vegetation.
